Here's a short video of Colby having fun babysitting Sterling & Nunally's litters.
Gina caught this adorable video of Athena chillin' in her cage, grooming herself! :D
This is a short video of the San Antonio Rabbit Breeders Association Spring Rabbit Show. It was held on Apri 17, 2010 in Seguin, Texas. Rabbit shows are family fun! Everyone loves their bunnies and are very proud of each and every one of them. There is such a wide variety of beautiful bunny breeds. It's a long day and everyone gets comfortable in their own space. Bunny folks are some of the nicest people I've ever known - everyone is happy to help each other. It is less about competition and more about raising the very best standards of one's preferred breed. This was our very first show; it was a double open show - show A & B. Our AFL group was small but we had a little competition. The more competition, the more points are won. In Fuzzies, there are 2 'varieties': solids & brokens. There are many judges and in a double show you will have a different judge for each show.
We brought Brice, Piddles and Logan. Brice won 2 first place ribbons - 1 for BOV (best of variety), and 1 for BOSV (best opposite sex variety). Piddles won 1 first place ribbon for BOS & BOV (best opposite sex & best of variety). She also won 1, 2nd place ribbon. Logan won 1 3rd place ribbon in the first show and then he was DQ'd (disqualified) in show B for a couple of white hairs on the tip of his ear (where Piddles had chewed and hair grew in white!). But all in all we are very excited and proud of our buns! We had such a good time and learned lots!

This is a video (taken 3/16/11) of Nunally's recent litter of 6 kits (3 weeks old) and Sterling's litter of 6 (4 weeks old). Brice and Velvet are the sires of these 2 litters: Brice+Nunally & Velvet+Sterling.
This is Brice & Sterling's litter born 2/18/10. Kits are 3 weeks old here and just starting to nibble foods. Their ears are lopping and coats are starting to come in. Brice is purebred AFL buck and Sterling is Holland with 1 fuzzy gene. Enjoying a romp in the grass.

This is our newest litter of 6 from Mr. Brice + Miss Melly. Melly is a Fawn Holland doe with 1 wool gene and Brice is a full pedigreed Blue Tortoise Shell buck. These kits were born 12.31.09 and are a little over 2 weeks old here. Eyes just opening, ears lopping and fur length is beginning to show. The scruffy looking kits will have longer coats than the smooth coats. We think we have 2 fawn colored and 4 Blue Tortoise Shell colored in this litter. Not sure how many girls & boys we have yet.
This is our bunny litter of 6, born 11/20/2009 - 2 girls & 4 boys. Mom (Sterling) is a Frosted Pearl Holland Lop with 1 wool gene and dad (Mr. Brice) is a purebred American Fuzzy Lop. The bunnies are about 4 weeks old in this video and their ears are starting to drop and coats coming in. We had 2 blue torts, 1 frosted pearl, 1 blue chinchilla and 2 sable points. The chinchilla & pearl had shorter coats in this litter. Beautiful babies! :)
This is a our July 15th, 09 litter out of Melly (Holland Lop w/1 wool gene) and by Beany (Broken Fuzzy Lop). They are about 2 1/2 weeks old here, ears are just starting to lop and long fur is starting to show.
Ellie was our first Holland Lop and this one of her first litters by Beany (AFL). We still have Sterling who is a frosted pearl (Holland) and wonderful brood doe. We only recently parted with the little black otter gal (Braces) - and she has found a wonderful new home. The little broken orange boy also went to a new home very quickly.
